If you are building a house in Enugu, you need to know that the state government now insists that every building must have a building completion certificate that ensures that the house in constructed according to the approved building plan.



Over the past few weeks a task force have been moving around demolishing structures with no building completion certificate. According to officials the enforcement will be limited to houses built after the policy was enacted. However, buildings constructed before the policy may be required to pay a fine.
